She's Back and a New Toy

So apparently my sis was super good this year and Santa gave her a new computer!  Her's was ancient and wouldn't support any of the new software these days, so it was pointless to try and work on it.

BUT, she has a blog (has had one but hasn't had a computer to post on it with) and I *think*, fingers crossed, that she'll start back up.  She also has a pretty cute reason to take lots of new pictures.

I think she's still playing around with design and stuff so give her some time. 

Also, since I upgraded to this little lens, Canon's 50mm f/1.4, I gave her my 50mm f/1.8.  Happy B'day Sis! :)

Incredible photog Mary Margaret Chambliss let me borrow a couple of lenses to try out and after a few weeks, I knew I was ready to spend the $$ to upgrade to this one.  I love my 50mm f/1.8 and thoroughly enjoyed learning WHY I wanted a lens with a wider aperture and HOW to work it, but have a feeling I will enjoy the f/1.4 just as much!! 

Now, if I could only justify an L series lens and a full frame body purchase!  One day...one day.  :)  I am content with what I have now.  :)
