Yep! My SISTER has a bun in the oven! If we're friends on facebook, you already know this!! But she wanted the blogosphere to wait a bit!!!
I'm SOOOOO excited for her and Mac! I'm super excited to become and Auntie (again). I have 3 nieces and 1 nephew on Robert's side of the family, but I think this is a little different with it being my sister!! And she lives just a few miles away from me so I can visit whenever I want. Kidding Lacey...take a deep breath. ;-)
She is due September 21 - which just so happens to be our wedding anniversary - Robert and I.
It would make the perfect anniversary gift!!
She IS going to find out April 21st and has come up with a SUPER cute, CREATIVE way to reveal the gender. To my knowledge, it's never been done. I can't wait to share it with you....you're going to love it!!!
So, the other day Lacey asked me what books she should read. Other than the obvious "What to Expect When You're Expecting" what books would you recommend for her?? I'm kinda out of the loop on the newest baby books that are out. Plus, the only one I really liked was "Babywise".
What would you tell her??

That Time Again!
Hey Y'all! I'm back. Nothing like a little stomach bug to set you back a few days! Lillian gave it to Rhodes, Rhodes gave it to me, and we spent Tuesday in bed together sipping on Gingerale and Gatorade! Nice, eh!?
And unfortunately, Tuesday night was Landon's first big baseball game of the season!!! I didn't make it and HATED missing it, but my mommy duties were calling big time!
But here are some pics from his practice game last week! His team is the Boston Red Socks! :-)
Robert played catcher during the practice game! I think he loved being out there!
Rhodes just sat in the stroller and ate! Can't believe he sat there the whole time!!! Let's hope it lasts all season!
Landon's been put at pitcher right now! The boys are doing great...I think it just takes time to learn how to field and know exactly what's going on! But practice makes perfect....RIGHT!?!
He's definitely a GREAT hitter!
I'm looking forward to this season! The weather has been GREAT and makes for perfect ballpark days!!

Perfect Kind Of Weekend
I think Robert and I both agree that perfect weekends for us are hanging out with the family outside! And since he can't sit still, getting stuff done is up on his list too!
Well, we combined FUN and WORK!
We let the kids clean out and wash the car!
Needless to say, they had fun.
And while they were off doing all thatwork fun, I was starting a new book!
And I would have finished it that day if I didn't have 4 little responsibilities! ;-)
Rhodes is going to have so much fun this summer! He will be able to participate in all the baby pool and hose fun!!!! Here he is getting his first hands on look at the thing that squirts out water!!!
He played with that while the kids scrubbed away!!!
Then their attention was quickly distracted away from the car to a full on water fight!!!
And Robert and I worked together to finish off what the kids started!
We had a GREAT weekend full of friends, grilling out, sleeping in, and baseball! Doesn't get much better than that!!!

Revisiting The Motherland!
On the Tuesday of our Spring break, I decided to revisit a special park. Well, I think it's special. I think I would have LOVED this park as a kid!! It has 26 foot towers!! Whoa!
I like to save this park for special occasions! Don't want it's funness to wear off!
At first, I wasn't sure about Rhodes. I know he's crazy and fearless when it comes to parks, but this one is, you know, different.
But who was I kidding.
He wasn't going to miss out on the fun. At first he started going down them feet first on his tummy. He decided to shake things up after he got comfortable with the GINORMOUS slides.
There was also a rock wall. They did it once, but that's all. Still fun and different.
The merry-go-round was a big hit. This was actually the thing that made me the most nervous with Rhodes. He didn't want to hold on and the centripetal force would just roll him to the outer edge.
Even though Olivia's face says something different, they DID enjoy the catapillar.
Again on the merry-go-round. This time with Big Brother holding on.
So after Rhodes was used to the slides, he decided it would be fun to ride down them HEAD FIRST on his tummy. Crazy boy!
Let me remind you what this slide looks like. Yeah, that top one!
And there he goes again!
All that sliding is exhausting!
Did you have fun Rhodesie Boy?
Then our friends showed up and it was A LOT more fun!!!!
Well, for most of us. ;-)
LOVE this park! And even though it's far for some people, I timed it and it's only like 12 minutes from our house! But SHHHH......don't tell the kids! They think it's "far away"!!! :-)

SB2K'11 2
The fun didn't stop at skeet shooting at the lake!! It was Uncle Mac's 31st BIRTHDAY!
We celebrated with decorations and a strawberry cake! YUM!
We ate A LOT during the weekend....Rhodes enjoyed some ice cream sandwiches!
We attempted a family picture since we were ALL together at the lake. My favorite is Landon. ;-)
I think Margaret fits right on in with the fam....don't you!?
After dinner, we had our traditional BON FIRE! It was a good one! Some yummy s'mores too!
I mean, they look like sisters...no!? So fun having Margaret around and hearing about wedding plans and china! :-)
Then we played a little guitar. I didn't know if my brain would remember anything, but ironically, my fingers remembered riffs of a few songs. Extreme "More Than Words", Edwin McCain "I'll Be", and Dave Matthews "Jimmy Thing". And then a little riff of Led Zepplin "Lemon Song" from my bass playing years. How's that for a group of random songs at a bon fire! Next time, I think I'll learn some better ones ahead of time to actually SING along with everyone!
Sunday was another beautiful day!! We lounged in the sun soaking up that vitamin D! Then did a little BB gun shooting. I think Landon was in HEAVEN!!!
A little help from Uncle Walton - the scope was a little tricky.
Of course, Robert had to give it a try. Though, something tells me the can wasn't quite that high up in the trees. I have NO idea what he could be aiming at. ;-)
We all played around a little bit more and then headed home around 5:00. Where there was STILL so much sunlight! We are loving the time change - a little hard getting up in the morning, but still...it's nice!
Now that we were home, I had to come up with stuff to do during the week! Luckily lots of places around here are having Spring Break stuff go on!
And then we revisited a VERY fun place. I'll tell you about that later!!!
