I know..that probably sounds so vain. But what is it about having a beautiful bronze-goddess glow that makes us girls feel so good!!

I will say that 90% of my tan comes from a bottle. If you opened my bathroom cabinet, you'd be greeted with an enthusiastic shelf of skin loving, UVA hating, bronze/metallic bottles - full of golden/tan love. Of course, only suppling us with the best self esteem booster any girl can find in a bottle. Literally, I probably have 8 or so different kinds of bottles of self tanner sitting in my bathroom cabinet - of all different brands.
If there was a way to be tan all year round....SIGN ME UP!!!
You are so funny! I have a friend who has a blog about fashion. She is an image consultant, and she did a post about being tan. In her post, and I quote, "Tan fat is better than white fat", and I would have to say that I AGREE. My mom always quoted the same thing growing up. Although you don't have to worry about fat yourself, for the rest of us, "Tan fat is better than white fat." Vain, but true. :)

You are really funny!!! I agree, and I should know because I have ALOT of untanned skin right now! My plan for the summer was to get really tan by sitting outside with the kids and using lots of self tanner also. But, now I can't reach my legs and honestly I have no ambition. But you have inspired me... I may have to get creative and somehow get a tan:):)
ReplyDeleteWhat is your favorite kind? I tried the Jergens continuous glow lotion that tans a little at a time, but I didn't love it, and I sure don't want to be orange!

ReplyDeleteI am glad to know your secret! I always wondered how you maintained your color PERFECTLY during the summer! I need to go to the bottle too! :) I have tried it but I remember it didn't always look real and/or it was streaked in places but... that was like 5 or 10 years ago. I am sure the products are better now. I just don't know what to try!
